Dr. Edwin O. del Rosario, MD

Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine

Dr. Edwin O. del Rosario, MD received his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in the Philippines in 1986. He completed his internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago Hospital in March of 1993. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. del Rosario has been in practice for almost 20 years. Prior to joining Health Center of Hidden Lakes, he served the Tarrant County Hospital district for 12 years and was an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center Department of Community Medicine.

Through his practice at Health Center of Hidden Lakes, Dr. del Rosario looks forward to building long lasting relationships and helping patients lead healthy lives. He believes the best way to accomplish this is through a partnership between the physician, a caring and attentive staff, and the patient. Patient involvement and education is a vital part of the treatment plan. Dr. del Rosario knows how important it is is to earn the trust of the patient. Listening to the patient and working as a team is the only way to make this happen.

Dr. del Rosario is married and has 3 children. In Dr. del Rosario’s spare time he enjoys travelling with his family, and working with computers. He is quite a handyman too.
